When Emily had asked when Leon was finally going to move in with them—or them into Leon’s place—Grace had started coughing out of surprise and felt like she might just expel her heart at the same time. When she’d explained they weren’t dating, Emily had furrowed her brows and asked, “Why not?”
Grace’s gaze drops down to where Leon’s left hand rests on the table. On the silver band on his ring finger.
“Because he’s married,” she’d said to Emily.
“So? He never talks about her,” Emily had replied. “Are you sure they’re even together? What if it means something else?”
Having dinner with Leon, Grace makes a few discoveries...

When Shen Qingqiu’s thin eyebrows begin to furrow with displeasure, he suppresses a sigh and does what is probably a horribly unattractive shuffle until the furrow evens out, and he’s left sitting at more of an angle with the other man, his knee almost brushing Shen Qingqiu’s expensive-looking robes.
Somehow, Shang Qinghua has found himself in a—situation-ship? friend-ship? some other -ship word he isn't aware of? with the Scum Villain of all people.

A low groan comes from behind him, and Pei Ming watches Feng Xin’s eyes flick automatically over his shoulders before his face flushes so fast, Pei Ming is a little impressed that the man doesn’t just faint on the spot.
“Is there a w-woman in there?!”
Pei Ming shoots him a winning smile and slams the door in his face without giving an answer.
Turning to his room, all he can see on the bed is a huge fluff of brown curls, the others' back turned towards him. Pei Ming gets dressed quickly before going to the other side. He doesn’t want Feng Xin to get his wits about him and start pounding on the door again.
“Yizhen?” Pei Ming shakes the man’s shoulder slightly, just enough to earn another groan. “I’m leaving now.”
It's mission time for Pei Ming, featuring Feng Xin! However, Quan Yizhen is never one to be left out.

No one quite agrees on how humans came about. If it was the work of many gods or just one, but whatever the case, when humans were created, we were made so we could praise, so we would worship.
But even though we were created for the gods, the gods themselves changed. They began to look like us, so we would not fear them. They started to care for things they hadn't before—their personalities warped to mimic our own—and for the first time, gods could die and were replaced by new ones.
A new domain was created, one entirely for us. A domain of humans, filled with human emotions and desires, that expands as we humans learn and grow.
New gods began to emerge to fill these new roles; many birthed from the old gods themselves. But sometimes, very, very rarely, a human could become a god.
This is the story of one such human-turned-god.

Qingxuan has to bite back a laugh, sighing to cover all traces. “…Why does everyone around me always scowl?” he huffs, pouring himself into a nearby chair. “You, ge, and Ming—” He shuts his mouth abruptly and taps his finger against his lips a few times.
Feng Xin also pauses, but doesn’t look up.
“…Anyway, always with the scowling! It’ll give you wrinkles, you know.” It’s comforting, he doesn’t say, to be around someone who acts so much like him again.
“If I was going to get wrinkles, it would’ve happened hundreds of years ago,” Feng Xin grumbles, but his fingers come to subtly massage at the crease between his brows.
“That’s what they all think until it’s too late.”

George stands before him in the doorway, like a gangly, terrible ghost. His face is heinously pale, which makes the dark bags under his eyes pop in a way that is altogether unflattering, and he wears only a large, striped sweater and a pair of boxers with bats on them. His hair is much longer than it had been last time Harry had seen him, and it’s pulled back into a loose knot. “Harry,” he says, and it comes out breathlessly.
“George.” Harry stands there, wholly encapsulated by familiar heartache just at the sight of his friend. His eyes flick past him to investigate the flat. Clothes and dirty dishes are strewn all over the living room and, if he’s not mistaken, there are at least three pairs of underwear hanging from the ceiling fan. He glances back at George, who is now leaning against the doorway staring at him, expressionless. Harry clears his throat. “I, um… came for a visit. Sorry.”

Mobei-Jun does not speak human. He does not speak human even a little bit, as Shang Qinghua has tested by saying absolutely unholy filthy things to him that should have gotten him instantly murdered, but instead only earns him a blank, annoyed stare.
“My king, please, it’s only water. It’s unpoisoned, see? See, I’ll drink some. Ahh, tasty, safe water! Please, drink it? You’re sweating so much, you’re, like, melting.” He helps Mobei-Jun drink the water. “... God I really want to lick the sweat off your neck.”
Mobei-Jun does not react. Ahaha, this is kind of fun. Except for all the ways that it’s so fucking inconvenient.
