The summer of 1914, a peaceful time in England at the end of the Edwardian Age. Oliver William Lacey works his mundane Ministry job for the Department of Magical Artifacts writing mundane reports on mundane things found in mundane ways. It's much to his surprise when his routine is upended in an un-mundane way by a group of foreign villains. Oliver must set out on an epic quest, making friends and allies along the way, to locate some of the least mundane and most important artifacts in the British Isles; the artifacts associated with the legendary King Arthur.
If Oliver succeeds, he hopes to stave off a coming war, protect the Statute of Secrecy, and preserve the peace between magical and non-magical communities.
Oliver will face puzzles and dangers, but always with the choice: Do I keep going or do I go home?
He'll learn to rely on his friends, learn to find help in unexpected ways, and discover just how deep his values really go. No fate. No prophecies. No chosen one. Just people trying to figure out what's the right thing to do.

Summary
Ages ago, a wizard known as Herpo the Foul defied Death and doomed the world and those who were yet to be born. His ambition was put to and end, yet briefly, for the events of the past are bound to happen again as the ages come and ago. It is in the present age, as Voldemort's reign of terror is deemed as over, that the Wizarding Wolrd would understand the story had yet to finish.
This will be a Ron-centric fic that starts before the events of the first book. It will have many points of view, both from Rowling's characters and some original ones from mine. There won't be any unnecessary bashing or perfect characters; this is a realistic story in which everyone has flaws and virtues. It will cover the seven years of the original saga, following the canon plotline as my original plots intertwine with it. This is a story with heavy world-building and magical lore.

Summary
As usual, Merlin has utterly failed in keeping a low profile by inadvertently getting himself dragged into a mess of a situation that appears to have something to do with a seemingly unkillable snake man, a toad woman, an order of phoenixes, and a boy named Harry Potter who, he quickly finds, is equally bemused by his current predicament. When he discovers how lost the boy is, he resolves to help him and his friends get rid of this dark lord--as well as their malignant (and worse, ineffectual) new teacher.
