It sounds like a weird achievement. To be fair, when he was a kid, and his teacher asked him to come up with something he’d want to do or be when he’s older, he wouldn’t have said: ‘Mrs Jang, when I grow up, I want to have a vampire live with me 24/7!’ Yet, here he is. And he’s oddly fulfilled with his achievement, too. Most people who come across his extremely scary, intimidating, terrifying vampire would get their souls sucked out of them, but not Subong. Nah, Subong’s the exception.

“Seriously, when’s the last time you ate?” Mike rubs his sleeve all over Will’s lower face and jaw till the only place where theres blood (that hasn’t dried) left is his lips, he pauses, not knowing if that’s a line he should cross.
“Like two da—” Will gasps when Mike does decide to clean the blood at his lips. Why Mike decided to let his sleeve go and wipe it with his bare fingers? He has no clue.
Mike’s thumb pulls down on Will’s bottom lip, propping it open a tad. What is he doing? he just needs to pull his hand away and act like this didn’t happen.
“Two days?” Mike asks, not really there all that much—still very obviously staring at Will’s lips which are stained red. Will nods.
Mike protrudes into Will’s mouth, his thumb applying barley any pressure to the point of his fang. Will gasps, pulling away.
“Yeah, uh, yeah two days.” Will stumbles over his words.
“I mean, except tonigh—“
“Are they sensitive?” Mike asks, still looking at Will’s mouth.
Will raises his eyebrows, seemingly shocked by the question, before he bites his lip, hesitantly nodding. That must hurt, given the new addition to his teeth.
