The cold water pounded against his body, his teeth chattered from the chill, and his body shook; but Bucky stayed. He had to get a handle on his body, he wouldn’t fall to the whims of deep old biology, but maybe it was more than that. Maybe he had fallen for Sam somewhere along the way, not realizing until he was falling face first into dangerous waters. He’s never been one to fall like this, he usually had fun flings; but never this.
Steve is on the run, and entrusted Bucky to watch over Sam; but the tension between them has grown too much.

Summary
When Leon catches his boyfriend Micah cheating on him, he ends their three-year relationship without a second thought. Heartbroken and with nowhere else to go, he crashes at Claire's place. She doesn't hesitate to take him in, offering him a place to stay and helping him pick up the pieces. A few weeks later, Chris drops by to check on Claire — and mostly on Leon. Seeing him so devastated breaks his heart. With patience, and support, Chris gradually helps Leon find his footing again. Somewhere along the way, their friendship starts turning into something neither of them expected. If only Leon's ex would stop showing up, begging for another chance and tearing open old wounds every time Leon starts to heal. But that problem doesn't last forever. After months of experimentation and a C-Virus cure synthesized from Jake Muller's antibodies, Piers - with hardly any memory of his former life, fitted with a high-tech prosthetic arm, and assigned the codename Fox - is a model US asset, assigned to "help" DSO Agent Leon S. Kennedy eradicate remaining Neo-Umbrella strongholds and eliminate the C-Virus.
Unbeknownst to him, Fox's true mission is to feed intel on DSO operations back to Neo-Umbrella, but as he and Leon get to know each other, Neo-Umbrella's control slips and secrets begin to come to light.
Meanwhile, Chris is just miserable and sad because he thinks Piers is dead. Sorry Chris. It'll be okay.

Whenever Grace was feeling down, she liked to imagine all the different ‘R’ Commanders, Captains and Operatives as the same mythical “superhero” BSAA soldier. It felt nice to imagine (if only for a moment) that wherever a bioweapon would spring up there would be an immovable soldier to meet its unstoppable force, saving the day.
But of course, no one person could do all that.Or:
The one where Grace cannot believe all the redacted BSAA Captains are the same guy who, along with his husband, highk kinda adopted her.
