Summary
It was a difficult decision, but for El's sake, she and Will moved across the country to Washington. Will began college, and El worked to graduate, and just before the end of the semester, Will had his first art exhibition. Mike, Lucas, Max, and Dustin gather together to fly to Washington to attend the exhibit, and after close to a year of not seeing each other, the kids pick up where they left off to have one last adventure before fully letting go of their childhoods.
In other words, this is a loving story among childhood friends that mends some of the wounds from the season 5 finale.

Even though those days were long gone, there were still similarities wherever he looked, one of them, of course, being Bucky. His presence has endured growing up, dying, and even being in separate timelines. It’s almost like it didn’t really matter, because no matter what, the Universe would find a way to keep them together. It was as if some Greater Being knew how much they needed each other.

What happened to ‘the end of the line’- you said ‘until the end of the line’ and I believed- I fucking,” he got in Steve’s face, gesturing sharply to his chest, “I fucking believed you,” he bit out, “so I got rid of the plans to kill myself, burned the notes, hid the guns, but-“ with every word he shoved Steve who began to stand up and take the abuse, “You.
