"Jevil was dead, to begin with.
Or, at least, that was the commonly-held belief amongst most of Cyber City’s inhabitants. One minute Jevil was the unlikely business partner of the city’s richest salesman, Spamton G. Spamton, and the next… he disappeared without a trace.
Spamton carried on as though nothing had happened. Wealth, influence, fame, he had it all. Why let a little thing like your partner’s disappearance stop you, right?
In spite of his massive success, Spamton was rather a divisive figure. To his legions of customers, he was an icon – but to those a bit closer to home, Spamton G. Spamton was one of the most hated Darkners in Cyber City. In more recent times, he’d become very cold and distant; spending most of his time in his room in Queen’s mansion, rather than out mingling with other people. Such a frivolous use of time wouldn’t bring the money in, after all. And money was all that Spamton cared about."

Summary
Tenna’s first reaction upon seeing Spamton again, which was to spray him with foam, should’ve been an early warning sign of how their relationship would go in Castle Town. In simple words: not good.
With Tenna forced to come to terms with his loss of power and Spamton eager to take advantage—adding on years of separation, misunderstandings, and pent up anger—it wasn’t a surprise that things turned out this way.
So, with all that in mind, why in the world did they keep coming back to each other?

Summary

Alone and without anybody to help him in Castle Town, where mainly those who still know him aren't friendly to him, Spamton finds a recently-recruited television who doesn't recognize him whatsoever and chooses to use this to his advantage.
