The elven man became impatient and briefly glanced over his shoulder at Buer, and her breath hitched. His face was delicate, handsome, and almost devilish even. For a moment Buer felt an overwhelming urge to turn this man into the most beautiful corpse Faerûn had ever seen; to rip him open and flay his pearly skin across a pinning board like a delicate butterfly. Heat rushed to her face and ears, tingling at the surface in a blush.
‘Gods was it always this hard to breathe?’ Buer wondered.
