And holy shit, could the man fly.
Intellectually, of course, he’d known that. Of course Captain Mitchell could fly. He was a graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School. He was the first Ace since 1972, and had done in it a stolen enemy Tomcat.
He had been enraged after Mitchell had stolen that fighter jet and flown the pattern, but god damn, it had been amazing to watch.
Cyclone was grateful that the pilots and Warlock had been so distracted by Maverick’s insane flight that they hadn’t realized he was half hard. That had been the first time he realized he had a problem.
He wasn’t sure if he wanted to punch that smile off Maverick’s face, or taste it.
