Summary

“What did you call it?” Simon asked, placing his hand on Grace’s hip. His fingers slipped under the man’s shirt, causing his angel to moan. Simon loved how vibrant blushes looked on Grace. His angel looked like a tomato. He couldn’t help but tease the man. “When we talked about EDEN and Earth? Something exchange?”
Ryland whimpered as Simon began rubbing his side. Every touch was electric. God, he was sensitive. He swallowed, throat clicking loudly. “Cultural exchange,” Grace answered.
“Yeah. Cultural exchange.” Simon chuckled, “Let’s do that. Let me show you how we make life.” He pulled Grace to him, chest to chest.

“Lucius?”
“Yeah, yes, that’s me,” he says frantically. “Please don’t kill me.”
“What the hell are you doing here?” Stede asks.
He zeroes in on her, because if there’s one person least likely to try and kill him right now, it’s Stede. She’s waded back to the waterline, but is still holding her dress up, away from the water, and so Lucius can plainly see a tentacle—an actual tentacle, it actually is a tentacle—wrapping its way up her exposed calf. It’s then that he actually looks at the thing holding him up and he lets out another shriek, trying to wiggle clear. The tentacle only tightens its grasp on him though and he freezes. This thing feels strong enough to crush him with very little difficulty, and he has no desire to be crushed today.
“I’m sorry!” he yells again. “I just wanted to know why we kept coming back here and then last time you came back with these weird marks around your neck that looked like tentacle marks, and I was like, there’s no way those are tentacle marks, but something weird is going on here and I needed to find out what, and I guess the what is actual tentacles.”

Rocky and Grace have nearly arrived at the Blip A, from their little trip over at Adrian. But before they can reach Rocky’s ship, they’re caught in a powerful field of unknown energy. They make it out on the other side without more than a panic attack, but something here feels off.
Blip A shows up on their radar, but it doesn’t look as it should. Instead of the usual geometric shape of one, it’s two ships, connected to each other through a tunnel.
And one of them says “Hail Mary” along the side of its hull.
