Damian stiffened. Translation, yes, he did.
“I don't have to think the evidence is clear! If I wasn't there you could have taken all the thugs down, and grabbed the shipment at the same time! But I was there, I was nothing but a liability you had to pathetically save!”
Jon stepped closer, he wanted to reach Damian, he wanted to hug him, but Damian wasn't letting him any closer. In more ways than one.
“None of that is true! You keep me focused! You correct me when I'm wrong no matter how annoying it is, I still wouldn't change anything! We're partners Robin, that means I'll always have your back!”
“And what if I can't have yours?” Damian said

"What the fuck are you two talking about? The damn nerd is standing right beside you!"During a battle, Midoriya gets hit by a villain whose quirk detaches his soul from his body. Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan.
Alternatively: Deku and Kacchan are soulbound.
