Eddie and Gareth have made a habit out of waiting until moonrise and driving out to the farmer’s fields on the edge of Hawkins. Sure it’s technically trespassing, but where better to blast metal, smoke up, and fool around? The last thing they’re expecting on this standard November night is for Steve The Hair Harrington and a bunch of children to race onto the scene in a stolen car, jump down a hole, and then start screaming bloody murder. And the truly last thing they’re expecting is for Steve to be happy to come home with them.

The moonlight streaming through the windows is casting a spotlight on Eddie’s favorite moles along Steve’s neck—the ones right under his jawline that screams ‘bite me’.
He shan’t of course. He’s good. The best (according to Steve, and he intends to keep that label). It would be a heinous imposition to wake up his poor boyfriend with a nibble along the neck, especially the night before the scheduled ten hours of intense wooing.
...Moonlight bounces off [redacted] and Eddie congratulates himself on another fine week of procrastinating on getting proper curtains.
Fuck the sleep schedule. Time is a mass control tactic manufactured by The Man anyway.

“Such pretty boys.” Argyle cooed from his armchair, his lazy smile widening as he got twin whines in response. “And you’re doing so well too, taking your punishment so bravely.”
He’d come home earlier in the day to find Steve and Billy in separate parts of the apartment, sulking and refusing to talk to each other as they nursed various hurts. It was rare enough for his Subs not to be joined at the hip, but for them to have actually argued to the point where they’d thrown hands was unheard of. Something big had clearly happened but he’d had Steve and Billy under his care for long enough to know that apologies and explanations wouldn’t come easily.
He had to break them down first. So that was what he was doing.

Or, the one where Steve Harrington discovered some new information about himself and was remarkably chill about it, fell in love with Eddie Munson way too fast and way too hard, then got fucked over by him way too many times to count, until they finally got the happy ending they deserve.
