Summary
When Zuko arrived at the South Pole to capture the Avatar, the Spirits did not shine kindly on him and he finds himself a prisoner of the most pathetic excuse for a Tribe he has ever had the misfortune of seeing. He hates the seadog teen who managed to capture him with a boomerang, of all things. He hates that the boy is clearly clueless about how to treat prisoners of war. He hates that he's being treated well.

Sokka's boomerang is never to be underestimated. The only issue now is that he's accidentally captured a Fire National - not knowing it's the Crown Prince of the Fire Nation. With no way to send the guy home, or release him without letting him freeze to death, Sokka finds himself in an uncomfortable situation which makes him feel weirder the more he thinks about it and Zuko definitely isn't making it any easier for him.Bookmarked by Timur

Lance picks his jaw up off the floor and looks around their circle to find Hunk and Allura appearing similarly gobsmacked. Shiro pulls a face and punches Matt lightly on the arm, but it doesn’t seem like this is new information to him.
“Hang on—” Lance coughs. “When the hell did that happen?”

It was to be expected of the volleyball freaks who never stopped to think about anything else. But then there was Yamaguchi, who was purposely risking all this effort just for a chance at proving something to himself.
It was an equation Kei couldn’t solve. And both Bokuto and Yamaguchi’s solutions were just as frustrating as the problem itself.
Moments and pride. Tch.
The concepts twisted and turned in Kei's mind. No matter what angle he looked at them from, he couldn’t quite get it to form into something meaningful. Something worth trying for.
But the passion in Yamaguchi’s eyes had been so captivating, so convincing. There had to be something that Kei was missing.
A non-linear, slice-of-life look at Tsukishima’s journey through canon that focuses on volleyball, growing up, and learning that it's okay to love and to want, despite being afraid.

He tries not to overthink why the divine tunes saved him, or if he was even worthy of it. It’s alright too, he doesn’t have to know, it’s for the best to limit such unattainable desires.
Until it all changes when Venti decides to weave his presence into Xiao’s life, not as a god, but as a dear company, a contrast to the shadows. For once, Xiao allows something good to bloom inside of him.
