SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 9!!
' She can’t help her mind wandering though, back to a topic that’s been a frequent visitor in her mind for weeks now, relentlessly pounding against her skull.
Caine had come up to them two months prior, practically glitching with excitement, sharing that they may be able to potentially heal abstraction. He wasn’t positive, but he’d been working closely in the digital files of the Circus lately, giving himself something to do in between their regular activities. He found that the files of their lost friends still existed, but were corrupted, damaged, though fixable, if he was looking at it correctly at least. He couldn’t promise anything, but he had hope that they could actually do something.
This had caused excitement to rise within the group, eyes sparkling and discussion rampant. Voices had overlapped each other, and Pomni couldn’t help the heaviness on her chest of their most recent cast member lost lightening a bit at the positivity of the group, eyes drifting to the large circus tent he resided in most days, when he wasn’t in the aquarium with the others. '

Cried a bit while reading this one. Absolutely loving both the fic itself and all the companion art! I like how much Jax has grown in this one.

Summary
Branching off from Episode 7, if things just kinda calmed down?? Caine is kinda apologetic, and they can curse now.
Caine honors Zooble's request, so Jax gets to have some 'upgrades' (and a bonus crisis!), Ragatha gets to have Liking Girls Problems, Pomni gets to Make Decisions, Gangle n' Zooble get to freak it freaky style, Kinger gets to Play with his Hot Wheels (sorry no kinger sex here ^^; hes a widower 2 me), Caine gets to [secret!] and more!(This is my first fic, please enjoy!!)

Summary
"We were so worried, we heard you—" Ragatha starts, and then looks up. She meets Jax's gaze dead-on, and goes silent. Tears brim in the corner of her eye. Her hand flies up to cover her mouth. He can't tell if the look on her face is relief or fear.
Gangle's staring at him like she's seen a ghost. Pomni slowly raises to her feet, brows furrowed. She winces as every movement jars her wavering form.
Cowered on the floor, panting, confused and disoriented, with everyone standing above him, taller than him… it reminds Jax of something deeply unpleasant. They're all staring at him. They're all seeing him.
Jax knows they're not going to like what they see.
His breath quickens until his head is spinning, and he feels like he's going to vomit. He forces himself upwards with a frustrated cry, swaying in place, and then turns and bolts towards his room as fast as he can.
"NO!" Pomni screams.
(or: pomni pulls jax back from the brink.)

Definitely my favorite explanation for healing the abstracted yet! Caine, Pomni and Jax are written very compellingly, particularly in everyone's distrust in Caine in spite of what he's done to try and help them.
I also love Jax gradually accepting herself in this one!

Really enjoying this fac so far! I like how Jax dresses effminitely even if this characterization of him isn't transfem.
