Summary
“Shit, are you high?” Trevor asks. Michael's temples pound, and the sensation of that awful twitchiness only doubles. “What’re you on? Frank, he’s leaving us out, can you believe it? What is it, some bad strain of weed? Coke? You’re shit at handling that stuff, Mikey.”
Michael had been determined to do this like a badass, quit cold turkey and then get his whole life together. Trevor could’ve come over, maybe would’ve noticed all the ashtrays are gone, and Michael could've breezily told him how easy it was to kick the habit.
Franklin and Trevor are now guessing what he’s supposedly high on now, laughing and slapping the table so hard that Michael's beer nearly tips.
“Let me tell you, Frank. Mikey here once did coke as a kid so he could fit in with his super cool jock friends, and he—”
“Shut up, T,” Michael finally says, swatting Trevor on the shoulder, before rubbing his face. He must look like shit, because both of them shut up instantly. Quieter now, like it's a shameful secret that everyone is going to ridicule him for, he says, “I quit smoking.”

Summary
It’s the third morning in a row that he chokes down a true Los Santos breakfast: half a handful of painkillers, and a black coffee with a splash of whiskey. He should ditch his good boy job that doesn’t involve robbing banks or stealing government weapons and just be a chef instead.
Micheal rubs his free hand over his face and considers asking about an antipsychotic medication the next time he goes to the doctor.
Truth is, it’s been a real shitty couple of days.

The burning in his temples comes to a climax, and he sneezes, so hard that his sunglasses go tumbling off and clatter against the concrete floor with a sharp, metallic clink. Valentine stops where he is and turns to look at X6. X6 stares down at his visors.
“You gen-3s sure got all the features, didn’t you? They didn’t have that during my time,” Valentine says, and pauses. “You, uh, okay?”

He takes an unsteady breath and glances out the car window.
There are little kids dressed in their Sunday best outside of the church, playing and shoving each other and laughing. Probably excited for their presents.
Michael pulls his car over to the side of the road and vomits up his lunch.

Summary
The telltale clank of the bucket rings in the other room, chiming like the hands of a clock hitting midnight. It’s where the hands of the clock begin and end their tireless days, going about the same routine, just as they do with that bucket.
Truly, where is the Bucket Destroyer when he needs it?

"So how about: 69. a gentle “i love you” whispered with a soft kiss, followed immediately by a stronger kiss AND 60. lazy morning kisses before they’ve even opened their eyes, still mumbling half-incoherently, not wanting to wake up - I'd love to see some fluffy trikey morning!"

Summary
There is an all-encompassing anger in Trevor’s eyes now, wild and enraged like a rabid, starved dog. He is now attacking with full force.
And all Michael can think is: I want to die.
I want to die, I want to die, I want to die.
He doesn’t realise that he’s stopped fighting back until the punches stop, and Trevor’s eyes widen in a betrayal that only Michael could provide. The last time Trevor looked at him like that was when he found out that Brad was dead.
Trevor pushes away from him as if burnt, as if he doesn’t trust him anymore, and paces wildly around, blood dripping down his face and knuckles. From where Michael is lying, he hears Trevor make stuttering noises, the beginnings of sentences cut off by growls and curses. He’s so angry he can barely speak.
Eventually, Michael hears, “what the fuck was that, Michael?”
