She's prepared for this moment for years, beating information of her sister's whereabouts from Silco's failed henchman. She's ready. Hurt twists Caitlyn’s face. “I let you into my home, I healed your wounds, and I fed you. And you still don’t trust me.” She says with disbelief.
Vi shrugs. “Can you blame me?”
Caitlyn presses her hands to her face to muffle a frustrated noise. “I quit the force, Vi. I have nothing to give them. I was tossed in there just like you did, but I owe them nothing.” She pauses and swallows thickly. “You’re really willing to risk your life because of a twenty year old gripe?”
Ire rises hot in Vi’s stomach. “A gripe? I lost my sister for twenty years, because of you, Caitlyn!”
Or: It's been twenty five years since a strange outbreak took over Piltover and Zaun, making many people sick. Feral. Vi is back in the city after getting a note from the sister she believed dead, and has the misfortune to fall on the lap of the person she hated the most.
