Summary
Boy meets girl, girl consoles boy as he faces his impending doom, boy implores his sire to look after girl with his final breath, sire and girl go on a buddy-cop adventure that morphs into a romance when he takes her back in time and dumps her on boy's doorstep so he can get on with saving the world.
Now boy has to deal with the ramifications of falling in love with a human while ruling a society that sees them as cattle.
