The blood pools around her shoes. There's blood in Ichigo's eyes, in her mouth. Tatsuki's blood is in her mouth.
"...Tats?" Ichigo can't hear the screams around her. "Tats..."
"...Ichi..." A black mass oozes out of Tatsuki's neck. White needles float above the surface, drifting into a smile.
"Ichi... we're gonna be late... we gotta get to school!"
Black claws grab Ichigo's ankle. Ichigo screams.

Ichigo has only one friend. A friend she killed, cursed. Arisawa Tatsuki had been horrifically killed... and now she's some kind of monster, and it's Ichigo's fault. She doesn't know how she did it... She just wants Tatsuki to pass on... she doesn't want her best friend to live as a monster that kills anyone and everyone who hurts her.
She wants Tatsuki to be Tatsuki again... she doesn't want her as a killer. She knows she's completely at fault for her friend's curse... so, why does her friends treat her nicely? Why don't they blame her for Tatsuki and her curse? Why won't the Shinigami blame her? Why won't Tatsuki blame her?
She's killed her mom... she's killed her best friend... who will be next?
