While certainly OOC for everyone featured, it's a pretty top tier mom/son love story with a cute focus on Renee getting her happy ending after the hardships of her first marriage and some great little character moments that could only work with this kind of Oedipal relationship, my favorite being Andrew feeling embarrassed when Renee mentions changing his diapers while sucking his dick. And on that note, the sex scenes are pretty great too!

Seeing the Handler down here in the catacombs had struck her with a terror she’d long since hoped to have exorcised. After all, how the hell is that even supposed to be scary when she’d already survived the previous attempt on her life?
She could have said something. Should have said something. Let the Handler know that she was working with the Broker now and they were supposed to be on the same side, but the look she’d set upon her with those piercing, glacial, beady eyes told her that she likely wouldn’t have cared. Brooklynn standing across from her was just another sign that she’d failed, a loose end to tie up, an opportunity to satisfy some sick, demented, violent urge.
And then it had all been over, even if it still doesn’t feel over.
