The battle at the laboratory ended with the defeat of Poupinette Pantrelle and the retreat of her friends. Bambietta Basterbine has now been cured and resurrected from zombification, left broken and scarred from a year of Giselle’s abuse. While Momo lay unconscious, however, a far bigger threat looms, threatening to destroy the Three Worlds itself.
The nihilistic Tilamar Kellnohl has successfully obtained a Sand Hollow with the aid of Riruka Dokugamine, and his intentions with the creature are still an uncomfortable unknown. It seems that the only plausible way to defeat him will be to ally with his former associate, Leonise Kinlesse.But the sting of hatred still persists; Poupinette still detests Giselle, and though the zombie-tamer is beginning to feel the bite of her own actions, there’s no telling whether or not the Soul Society can convince them to set aside their differences to face the bigger threat.
