He blinks a few times in an effort to reorient himself, then carefully pushes his glasses further up his nose and says, “I don’t know. It would have never worked out in high school, then there was university and our careers to contend with. I’m busy, you’re busier. The timing just hasn’t been right, I guess.”

Bokuto blinks, settling down into his seat after Akaashi does. "You can draw? Draw me, Akaashi!"
Akaashi hated this statement back in high school, when he sat all by himself and it felt like his only use was being able to draw. It felt dehumanizing and sat ill in his gut. —But, looking at how expectant Bokuto's expression is, and how much Akaashi's wanting to draw him.
It's like touching Bokuto, in a non-sexual way but fully in an intimate way. To create a copy of Bokuto with his own hands feels so personal.
"Okay," Akaashi hums, gripping his pencil as he looks up at Bokuto. "Don't move too much, okay?"
Or: Newly graduated Akaashi has a shitty day, a really good hook-up, and listens to good music.

He had sharp golden eyes, a strong jaw and a small scar that cut through his left eyebrow that somehow made him more interesting to look at. His face was smudged with streaks of grease, his hair was slightly mussed, and he was looking at Akaashi with an expression that could only be described as scathing.
