Summary
Owen isn't an idiot. He knows that if Scott finds out he's basically a newborn in vampire terms, he's going to take the easy meal and kill him. So, he lied-said he had been alive 200 years instead of in a state of unconciousness for 200 years. Hopefully Scott buys it.
Scott knows Owen is full of bullshit. No Sire would let a fledgling that young out of their sight at 200 years old, let alone out here. He thinks he's roughly 300, and is lying to make himself look like less of a threat.
Scott and Owen have a truce-they both stay out of each other's business and don't kill any humans. But for some reason, Owen is so, so hungry. And animal blood isn't cutting it.
Scott, on the other hand, is a little concerned at how bad at vampirism Owen is.

With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.

They're almost everywhere now,” The alleged criminal expressed, beginning to walk, still with his hand on Mariana’s back, forcing them to move together. “Honestly, I think they did you dirty. All the drawings people have made may be nice, but they don’t seem to actually live up to the man himself.”

Dark hair curls on top of his head, and gold rimmed glasses press up into his nose from where his head leans against his wing.
For a minute, Charlie can’t process what he’s seeing, because surely-

Or; Charlie is having a hard time raising Juanaflippa on his own. A Fallen Angel in his backyard does not help.

The events of the first Avengers movie occur, changed by the fact that Grian functions by Hermitcraft/Minecraft rules and not Marvel rules, and therefore is ten times the menace and keeping himself busy.If this isn't your usual cup of tea, it usually isn't mine either, so maybe read the first chapter or maybe filter out crossovers *and* different fandoms.

Charlie is silent as he soaks in her words. After a few minutes he replies slowly. “Flippa… you didn’t have to do that. You should worry about what you want, not what I need. That’s my job, worrying about you .” He tucks her in some more as she looks up at him with large, knowing eyes. “I’m going to do my best to take care of you. Annoying Mariana comes second. I swear it.” Flippa swats at him lightly which he laughs at.
“But seriously. I will. I’ll… always be here for you.” She smiles at him as he stands and moves to blow out the torch next to her bed. “Goodnight, Juanaflippa.” Charlie says softly as he closes the door behind him and takes in a deep breath.
