Fresh out of the winter hell of the Grizzly Mountains, the Van Der Linde Gang scrambles to put themselves back together. Dutch, in a hunt for any money left to be found in the east, his right hand man, Micah Bell, off to go find what he can. While investigating a tip near Mount Shann, Micah meets Arthur Morgan, a painter, and becomes enthralled by the gentle man and his soothing presence. As Micah's travels go on he continually encounters Arthur, entangling himself further and further with the other man.
Soon, Micah finds himself split. There is Micah Bell, infamous outlaw and notorious killer, who most everyone at camp knows him to be. Then there is Micah, "Mr. Bell", infamous flower picker and notorious for dozing off towards midday, the man only Arthur has ever known him to be.

Summary
Set on the day of Homelander's birthday in S3E2 ("The Only Man in the Sky"), Annie goes to bed dreading what his onstage meltdown might mean for the future of The Seven, Vought, and even herself as the new co-captain. But instead of waking up to the inevitable media circus the next day, she finds herself waking up on the same day all over again. Then again, and again, and again. Homelander took a moment to visualise lasering Vogelbaum in half, reaching with his fist into the doctor’s back and ripping out his spine while his back was turned, locking him in the ba-… Vogelbaum was nothing, nothing more than another weak knee-ed, lily-livered, mouth breather. And he certainly wasn’t John’s father in any meaningful sense. So why was he hesitating? This man had been the cause of so much of his… John glanced down, breathing heavily and willing himself to pull it back together, to slip back into Homelander.
“I’m the world’s greatest superhero” Homelander snarled as he raised his head to level his gaze with Vogelbaum.
Vogelbaum was facing him again, arms held behind his back. He took several steps closer until he was cupping the side of Homelander’s face with one hand. He held John’s face with a gentleness he’d lacked through so much of John’s childhood, his face contorted into a mask of remorse that his eyes betrayed. John couldn’t help but lean into it.
“You’re my greatest failure”, Vogelbaum said coldly before swinging his arm up and ramming a syringe into Homelander’s left ear and pushing down on the plunger.
