The three basic things you need for a valid contract are: offer and acceptance, intention to be bound, and valuable consideration. These rules apply whether you're selling a house, a car...or a soul.
Steve was a law student. He didn't need to take Latin, but he'd gotten the strange notion into his head that it'd give him a deeper understanding of the law. One mistranslated assignment later and he'd accidentally offered to sell his soul to a demon named Bucky. Steve had no intention of selling his soul, but Bucky kept showing up and offering him different kinds of valuable consideration: fame, wealth, success, the usual things you'd expect in this sort of situation.
Steve didn't want any of it.
The only problem was, Steve was starting to want something from Bucky...but it had nothing to do with valuable consideration and everything to do with Bucky.

Compared to not being able to breathe properly, it’s a small thing, Steve will admit that. That his dick takes forever to get hard and often fails to stay that way is—was, now, hopefully—pretty low on Steve’s list of ailments, as frustrating as it was.
Steve Rogers is very much not a virgin. Not before the serum, and sure as hell not after it, when the serum ramps up his libido along with everything else. The higher-ups call it Operation Watchtower, but to Bucky Barnes and the rest of the men on the ground, it's Operation Pestilence. Bucky doesn't mind that much. He was the one stupid enough to enlist, after all, alongside a bunch of other guys stupid enough to enlist. It's their own damn fault they're sitting in muddy holes in the ground getting malaria and eating whatever they can steal from the dwindling Japanese food caches.
Sometimes Bucky crunches his way through a tin of fish heads and gazes out at the sea, wondering if the US Army's forgotten them there on Guadalcanal, wondering if there's a US Army or a Navy even left to remember them or if the Japanese have won and nobody's bothered to let the GIs know. Then he decides fuck it and chucks his tin of fish heads at Foghorn because he's in the mood to wrestle and Foghorn's always up for a fight. They both come out of it laughing and a little bloody and feeling better because, hell, Bucky figured out pretty quick that living or dying is largely just a matter of chance, so why worry?
