Summary
When Shane Hollander is publicly outed during a routine press conference, the truth is ripped from him before he’s ready. The fallout is immediate, brutal, and impossible to ignore. As the world watches, judges, and demands answers, Shane and his teammate (and partner) Ilya Rosanov are forced to navigate violence, visibility, and a sport that doesn’t always know how to protect its own.
Through targeted hits, swallowed whistles, media pressure, and one very public fight, Shane learns the difference between what the world takes and what he can claim back; on the ice, in the locker room, and in the quiet moments where love becomes a shield instead of a weakness.
A story about survival, solidarity, and choosing when to answer.

Summary
Caleb was about half way through his extended route when a bit of road construction shunted him into a series of allies that circumvented the square. It set him on guard, all his years of adventuring hadn’t taught him nothing, so when two figures cut him off he wasn’t surprised. What did surprise him was when he whipped around to see two more closing off the path behind him.

Summary
“Dude, this is so dumb,” JJ said, looking over the documents, “but also the best fucking thing we’ve ever done. It looks so real.”
Hayden grinned proudly, “Yeah? I got a friend who’s a lawyer to write them up.”
JJ looked up at him impressed. “Prank commitment on point, man”
Hayden’s grin widened.
He could already imagine Shane’s face when he saw the official-looking divorce papers from Ilya Rozanov. Shane would open the envelope, read the first few lines, spiral for solid thirty seconds, and then notice the tiny line Hayden had hidden near the top of the page.
April Fools, bitch.

“You’ve been good boy so far,” Ilya spoke softly, staring right into Shane’s eyes, “And what do good boys get?”
Shane’s eyes left Ilya’s and traveled down his body until they were locked on the obvious bulge in Ilya’s joggers. “Good things,” Shane breathed, forcing his eyes back up to Ilya’s face.

Summary
“Get out,” he whispers, not entirely convinced but firm, Ilya's fingers suddenly stiff on his bare hips. They were so right on him.
“What?”
“Please, Rozanov, get the fuck out,” it's almost a plea, not even in that filthy bathroom in Las Vegas Shane had prayed him like he mean it. Like his very life depends on how desperate that request left his mouth. Shane doesn’t believe in god, but he prayed Ilya like he was one, unreachable, unholy to desire, forbidden to want more. You can’t burden a god with a mortal life he doesn’t belong to. Shane is just a simple human, and Ilya can’t be caged by his simple human feelings.
“Hollander, c’mon. We can… We can start again, yes? We can forget, nothing happened. From scratch, da?”
Shane's hands push him away and he steps back one last time, he swallows and shakes his head, his eyes glossy in Ilya’s, a single tear slipping out of his control, rolling on his cheek.
“Please, go,” he mouths, his voice suddenly lost.
