Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

Eggsy Unwin thought he was making the life the universe wanted him to. Six months of wedded bliss has been everything but and it's getting harder and harder to keep up the charade. As he grows distant from his new bride and an entire country grows suspicious, he flies home to clear his head and say his final piece to Harry. Once that's off his chest, he can pack it in, come back to Stockholm, and be the partner that Tilde deserves.
So long as Harry doesn't reciprocate, of course.

It was expected in his chakra control, which his Academy instructors had privately described as unsettling in its precision. It was expected in his mission reports, which the Hokage had once called models of clarity and concision, and it was expected, without exception, in everything he did within the walls of Konohagakure — from the way he walked to the way he breathed to the way he bowed.
It was not, however, expected in his ability to navigate the Konoha Market on a busy Thursday morning with a grocery list in hand.
