Summary
Every year October is the only month Soulvester and Gourdy actually get to spend time together. The rest of the year they are either in very, very separate areas, or just not allowed to be around eachother at all. Delilah never gave Gourdy a proper explanation, just a pat in the back.
For almost 2 years it remained normal, they both had a crush on eachother; Gourdy was the type to fall for people easily, he couldn't properly tell the difference between someone being nice and someone wanting him, so it never really went anywhere. Soulvester, though, felt horrible guilt about his. Nothing ever happened anyway. It was easier that way.
Until now.

When things got serious, Gourdy felt like he was on a time limit, and desperately needed that attention.

Husk chased the thrills of life, both in life and in death. Alcohol and gambling, the bling of it all, it filled his entire being with joy. His love for those thrills often caused him to lose what he loved most. The people in his life ran off, leaving him high and dry. It was what he reaped for himself, after all.
Though, one hotel changed all of that... And the night in which Angel Dust returned, Husk's heart shifted into something new. He had lost love long ago, but through a sinner with bold eyeliner and a pink suit, he gained it back. And for Angel, solace and comfort came from an ex-overlord who wanted nothing more than to hold him.
