Ford smiled at him like Stan was being silly. “Of course not. There’s no need for you to go down there when everything you need is up here. The fearamid is not as… human friendly as our home.”
Stan set his jaw stubbornly and crossed his arms. “Well, what if I want to go down there anyway? Just to look around?”
“The doors won’t open for you.” Ford slipped his hands into his coat pockets and shrugged casually. “They’re attuned to only open for Bill and myself. You’re free to give it a try if you want, of course. But I warn you, I made sure those doors were completely baby-proofed to discourage any wandering.”
A “This Is a Gift, It Comes With a Price” side fic in which Stan gets turned into a toddler.

All you'd have to do is ask.” The older man slipped off of Robert and shuffled back to the kitchen. “Come on, let's eat before your food gets cold. I have stuff I want to discuss with you.” He ignored the icy glare coming from the other man as he scrambled to grab a fork for himself. “I have a proposition and an explanation for you.”
“Just kill me if that's what you want.”
“I want you alive, Robert, and not living however the hell this is. I'm not here to harm you like I said I only want to provide you with an out. For yourself and for Mecha Man.” Robert’s eyes were the size of saucers at the mention of himself and the suit. “Relax, I am not asking you to commit any crimes for me, everything I want is legal.” Yet that was a more terrifying proposition.

Summary
The rain has made Leon's dirty blonde hair stick to his face. The look on his face… one of utter disgust and apathy. Chris can only see one eye, but there's not a hint of the man he loves. Leon's is holding onto the tree next to him, assessing the safest way down. He doesn't find one, and lets out the meanest growl Chris has ever heard from the alpha. Leon stalks off, looking every bit like the predator he is.
Chris's heart hammers wildly in his chest, and he knows that his scent is giving away just how terrified he is. He can't think of the last time he's been so scared.

Chris Redfield is fine, thanks for asking. He has an amazing husband, a fantastic sister, and close friends he cares about. More than most can say in this awful world of theirs.
He has been coping just fine, thank you very much. Sure, he has chronic migraines, a worsening nicotine addiction, and a nonexistent appetite, but he’s fine. All Chris needs to worry about is supporting those he cares about. He’ll handle himself.
