Summary
Choi San and Jung Wooyoung are best friends and teammates in ATEEZ, affectionate and loving with each other and their other members. When a confession seemingly changes everything, it has them questioning, "what comes next?" And then outside forces intervene and it takes a while before they're finally able to come together.
Contains adult themes and eventually some loving smut.
Each chapter is titled with the character whose POV frames it. Most are from San and Wooyoung's POVs and there are a handful throughout where it switches up.
Note - this story is 100% fictional and imaginary and it just happens to be set in the real world of Ateez in 2023 with flashbacks to previous years. First published to WattPad. Also this is my very first fan fic and the first time I've written smut, and the first time in a very very long time that I've written fiction. So be kind :)

Summary
The human’s honey-toned skin glowed warm beneath the flickering alley light. Dark hair clung damply to his forehead. His cat-like eyes were glossy with pain as three men circled him like vultures, landing kicks hard enough to crack ribs.
And despite the situation, Wooyoung noticed dimples as the man screamed in pain.
He blinked.
The human had dimples. That felt almost absurdly unfair considering the circumstances. He’s always been quite fond of dimples.
OR
Wooyoung is a grumpy vampire in a century long slump when he stumbles upon human San getting beat up by a group of young vampires. In an effort to save San Wooyoung opts to fake "claim" him not realizing it's a blood moon by marking his neck with a bite. Because Wooyoung bit San during a blood moon they're now bonded for the rest of San's mortal life. Comedy ensues.

Summary
A fake marriage. Three years. Zero feelings involved — or at least, that was the plan.
After his grandfather’s one final insane demand threatens to take away his entire inheritance, a young billionaire heir decides the easiest solution is a contract marriage: strict rules, separate bedrooms, separate lives, no emotional complications. And honestly, who better to ask than Choi San — family friend, struggling CEO, and the man the entire country watched get left at the altar?
The arrangement was supposed to be simple.
Except falling hopelessly in love with his husband was never part of the deal.

Summary
wooyoung hates being told what to do, and thus he hates the concept of soulmates. like what sort of bullshit must it be, to dedicate your life finding someone that may not even be what you want? just because you have a soul mark doesn’t mean shit. you can get your own damn tattoos or whatever.
then one day, he sees a man crouching in the rain, huddled with a litter of kittens in a cardboard box. near the office of his modelling agency. same damn cuts and bruises on his hands. amicus ad aras at his knee, peeking from the rip in his jeans.
what the fuck?
(alternatively: pro-soulmate san convinces anti-soulmate wooyoung that fated mates exist; erodes all his hardened edges, and makes him into love.)

Summary
Wooyoung was no older than five years old when he saw a glimpse into his past life for the first time. Wild flowers, bright stars in the sky and hushed giggles were images hard to forget, but so were the unjust tears, heavy rain and secret endeavours.
Wooyoung was twenty years old when he became the owner of a flower shop and learned that there were more important things besides finding love and his soulmate, like dying his hair and decoding bouquets for his best friends.
Wooyoung was twenty-five years old when the shop across the street with a bad reputation was bought for the fifth time in the span of a year. He didn't think the fairytales of finding one's soulmate at the most unfortunate of times would be in the middle of the night by the cashier register of a 7-Eleven.
In a world where everyone is shown memories of their soulmate in their past life, Wooyoung is haunted by his.
