Summary
Clark Kent is sent to Gotham, tasked with uncovering Bruce Wayne's secret identity as Batman. At first, the banter and tease doesn't take them far, until the two eventually fall into a very complicated relationship. Will he manage to uncover his boss' secret identity before falling in love? Who's mask will fall first?

Bruce doesn’t hesitate to answer with a straight, “No.”
“No as in… nothing?”
“Never been with a woman,” Bruce says, then adds, “or a man.”
Or a man.
Clark tries to play a neutral reaction, yet his voice can’t help but come out a little too intrigued as he whispers, “Oh.”

At times, finding new clothes felt disappointing. For most, finding an outfit that goes together in a store is difficult. Or finding a cute design or the right color is difficult. But those things were secondary to the constant worry about how your body would look in an outfit. Always wondering how your stomach would be shaped, how your arms would smush, etc. You tried your best to hold back on these thoughts, but trying on these wedding dresses made you painfully critical of your body.

Down the hallway of your cozy home was a line of paintings Nanami had made. The first painting was a simple one, a recreational painting of the two of you during your wedding. The second and third paintings were twin paintings, one of Nanami and one of you. The fourth was a beautifully captured moment where you had sat on the porch reading for hours. Nanami got lucky that day and painted from the inside of the house. It wasn't until he was finishing the final touches in his office that you had just so happened to enter the room and see it. He officially showed it to you on your anniversary, not as a gift, but as a gesture of love for admiring you. Hence why it's your favorite.
