    Summary

To set her bow to a melody of someone else’s making was to perform. A closed, finished, defensible act, the notes already chosen by a wiser hand, her only duty to render them faithfully. But to play the thing she had made herself, here, watched, was to be peeled. She had thought of it more than once as an orange. The skin coming away and taking the bitter white pith with it, until what was left was only the soft divided fruit, glistening and undefended, so tender that the lightest pressure of a thumb would split it and let everything inside run out.

    OR

Vi plays saxophone. Caitlyn plays cello. A strangers-to-lovers story about learning each other through the music first. Some things just work (and sound) better together.
A slow burn, sapphic romance. With music, feelings, fears, desire, yearning, fluff and smut. Lots of it.

    Summary

"Twenty six thousand" Caitlyn said, drawing her self up and looking down her nose at the man.

"Twenty eight" the man countered smugly as Caitlyn glared at him.

    "Thirty" She growled, growing irritated.

The merchant looked between them, beaming as they bid. All of them too engrossed in the business deal to hear the lewd moans coming from the omega in question.

    "Thirty-five" the man said, smirking.

"Forty" Caitlyn said, narrowing her eyes.

    "Forty-five" the man said, exasperated.

Caitlyn glanced over at the omega. The womans hips were grinding in time with the shafts thrusts, and beads of sweat glistened on her skin. Her head hung down as she panted around the gag in her mouth and her pink hair obscured her face. Caitlyn thought about how she would look tied to her large bed, spread before her, those pretty eyes looking up at her.

"Seventy Five Thousand" Caitlyn said and the words hung in the air as the merchant waited for the man to counter. Several people near them craned their heads to see what kind of merchandise was drawing such a price.

Caitlyn buys an omega at the night market and puts her through her paces.

    Summary

At the Velvet Curtain, people pay for fantasy, control, comfort, pain, relief.

The arrangement is supposed to be simple: professional, negotiated, contained. Instead it becomes a slow collision of obedience, trust, class resentment, and the kind of tension that builds long before either of them is willing to touch it. Outside the Curtain, Piltover is busy congratulating itself for caring about Zaun. Inside it, two women are learning that care without honesty is useless - and honesty between them may be the most dangerous thing of all.

    Summary

A faint smile creased her lips. “Strangely enough, a lot of businessmen don’t seem to realize how far simple decency can take you. Beyond kindness, though, it’s also about knowing when to stand firm as a leader. Knowing where to stand, and how to stay steady even when an entire boardroom full of experienced men disagrees with you and makes those disagreements very public.”

Vi smiled and raised a brow. “So being a control freak kind of comes with the job, huh?”

Caitlyn’s eye narrowed slightly, though her expression stayed calm and unreadable. She gave a small shrug. “I like to keep a fair amount of control over things, both inside and outside this office.”

    -

A call-in by her sick sister leads Vi to a chance meeting with the enigmatic bachelor of Kiramman Enterprises: Caitlyn Kiramman. What follows is a passionate, contract-bound "relationship" of sorts that was supposed to stay simple. Stay defined. But proximity has a hell of a way with breaking rules, doesn't it?
