Another instant bookmark. Saw a bookmark of this work that went something like, 'if i could have a lobotomy just to reread this again for the first time, i would,' and I think that summarises pretty much everything.

The second Pacific Rim AU I've encountered in a month in the 5+ years of my fic reading journey. This was really well-written—the past/present transitions, the love and yearning, the intimacy of it all... I was extremely immersed beyond comprehension. Words are not enough to describe just how beautiful this (and its sequel) is. Hands down in the top 10 fics I've ever read 🥺
