Summary
Back when they fought for their freedom—when he almost lost her for good—she fled the city. Not before Ekko said she was always welcome in Zaun, or at least the Firelights’ base of operations. Even if she was only passing by, he wouldn’t say no to her company for a night or two.
To his delight, Jinx humored his offer. And throughout the years, Ekko came home to her curled up in his bed, out cold and content and still alive.
That night was no different.
Jinx pays Ekko a visit in between her travels.

They finally pulled into the zoo’s parking lot, and Ekko hopped out first, offering a hand to help Isha out of the car. Before either of the girls could protest, he grabbed the sunscreen and started spraying them down.
Neither of them appreciated it.
"Ekko, no! It smells weird, it’s sticky, and I don’t need sunscreen—I’m twenty-three, for god’s sake," Jinx whined, scrunching up her nose.
Isha glanced up at Jinx and noticed her dramatic pout. Without missing a beat, she mimicked it perfectly. Ekko caught the expression swap immediately—and he definitely wasn’t letting it slide.

Ekko, Jinx, and Isha spend the day at the zoo. They all have their moments, but together, they push through.

Summary
The trio visit the Tropical diver and River scout exhibits, making sure to stay close to the Dolphin Coast theater per Ekko’s request.
Isha is utterly enthralled with the marine life that surrounds her. The sight makes Jinx’s heart surge, her being a shark woman herself.
It isn’t often that Jinx gets to be so present with her family on off days, today just felt different, not better really, but different.
The Difference was good.
