Summary
Armin just started his new job as a stylist at Celsior Firm, packed with dreams and ready to make his life a story worth telling. Jean is a mysterious model, who learned a long time ago to settle for what he can get. From the minute they meet, they’d rather do anything than talk to each other. But as Milan Fashion Week approaches, they find themselves working towards the same goal and find that maybe their differences aren’t as irreconcilable. Was there more to each other than they thought? And perhaps something more?

Jean did not need to turn to know who was coming out to stand with him on the balcony; he knew Armin by the quiet sounds of his movement. Soon, the two of them would separate and go to play their parts in a war that felt endless. They would leave, knowing they may never see each other again. That this might be their last sunrise.

“Anyone could die tomorrow.” Jean murmurs softly, running the side of his thumb along Armin’s jaw. “And if we do then I’ll go knowing I told you I loved you, and meant it. That’s enough for me.”
Armin lets out a shaking breath, “I think I’m a little more selfish. I was going to wait until after everything.”
“How is that selfish?” Jean asks.
“Because, I want us to survive this, Jean. I want us to live somewhere. Not camp but live. I want a house with you and a garden.” Armin sounds a little frantic, hands gripping, voice shaking. “I want to feel secure enough to say I love you back and mean it!”

"You know, it's supposed to be pretty clear tonight," he said as his face finally gave into a smile. "Since the sun's already setting, if you don't mind, I could join you out here and I could show you some?"
Jean blinked in surprise, his smile falling from his face once again. He opened his mouth before closing it right away, words faltering as he nodded.
"Yeah, no, I don't mind. For sure, sit down," he finally managed, scooting over and patting the ground next to him a few times.
