Or will they find that as the Brotherhood of Steel makes themselves known in the Commonwealth, the Sole Survivor of Vault 111 can't be relied on as a friend? And with the Brotherhood bearing down on the Commonwealth looking for the Institute, can the remnants of the Railroad, Minutemen, and the settlements of the Commonwealth band together to fight the incursion or will they share the same fate as the Capital Wasteland?

Summary
MacCready squinted blearily through his scope and lined up his rifle. A heavy drop of blood slid down his forehead and passed, warm and sticky, through the hollow between his eye and his nose. The man in his sights was some kind of asshole: MacCready had seen him shoot down a passing settler, and that was as good a justification as any to shoot him. MacCready was coming up on twelve hours without any food, and with the Gunners on his tail it was no time to be picky. Asshole was bald, with a nasty scar from his forehead to his chin, and he staggered when MacCready shot him in the head, staggered and brought his hand up to touch the hole in his temple.
“What the fuck,” said MacCready, and shot him again.

Summary
Josephine Maddox has spent her entire life grappling with the person she wants to become. Newly emancipated and yearning for a fresh start, she's happy to finally relieve herself of her fanatical father, but when Josephine learns of his plans to head north and wipe out the fresh-faced Minutemen, she takes it upon herself to warn them of their impending doom. However, once she arrives, Josephine begins to see the true magnitude of the situation and finds herself roped into what is brewing to be a war. Then, as if that wasn’t enough, someone she thought lost is thrust back into her life, forcing Josephine to face emotions buried deep and hidden from the surface.
Robert MacCready’s goal in life is to be a good man, the man he knows he can be. He’s joined with the Minutemen to help and protect people, built a nice life for himself, and even has a circle of friends who he can trust, something truly rare in the wasteland. Then, the attacks start, and the hysteria they’d worked so hard to destroy with the Institute returns, but this time, it's no boogeyman. No leads, no explanations, and they’re left grasping at straws, until a face MacCready never thought he’d see again appears in Sanctuary with their lifeline.

Summary
It's often been said that R.J. MacCready has a bad attitude. He owns it. He flaunts it, at times. But when the Minutemen's growing influence leads to an encounter with General Preston Garvey himself, he's introduced to a woman who might give him a run for his money. Because Sabrina Minor, Doctor Sabrina Minor that is, is also famous for a very bad attitude. She's brilliant, and she's a pain in the ass.
And unfortunately, she's about to become MacCready's problem.

Summary
“Alright. My price is two hundred and fifty caps. Up front. No room for bargaining.”
She tilted her head, “You don’t even know what the job is yet.”
Mac sat back in his chair, “You a slaver?”
“Nope.”
“Child murderer?”
“Nuh uh.”
“Cannibal?”
“No siree bob.”
“Then I don’t really give a— I don’t really care. Just don’t put a bullet in my back and you’ve got yourself a deal.”
Miriam Braxster. That's what it said on her driver's license. That's how conductors introduced her. It's a name she'd hoped one day would be printed on a brass plaque on a door in some prestigious conservatory. And it's what it said on the very top of sheet music the world didn't even get to listen to before it destroyed itself.
Mac's pretty sure the only place Robert Joseph Maccready has ever been written down is on the note tucked into the basket his parents left him in.
