"Grief was an odd thing.
Draco was told it would fade slowly over time, like daylight slipping into dusk—streaks of gold sinking into deep shades of indigo and black. Perhaps some grief did shift that way. He wouldn’t know. His pain never faded. Rather, it was a relentless torrent that reared back and slammed into him, again and again, each wave as strong as the last.

Summary
Hermione Granger was captured, obliviated, and remade into Hermione Malfoy - dutiful daughter, loyal servant of Voldemort, and Draco’s younger sister.
............“You're my brother, I'll always be there for you. I love you.”
His heart stuttered.
He wanted to be selfish, to twist that declaration into something else. To hear it without the brother attached to it, without the neat little box she put it in.
He wanted to cross the space between them, to seize her face in his hands and kiss her until the lie shattered.
He wanted to fall to his knees and beg her to choose him.
He also wanted to set himself on fire for wanting that.
..............He was falling for her. She believed he was her brother.

When her lab is breached, Noble Team is sent to extract her before The Flood reaches humanities last hope. Their most lethal member, Noble Four, rarely speaks and never lets her out of his sight. He will do anything to protect the girl he lost the night the world fell apart.

Summary
The war is far from over, the worst battles yet to come. Voldemort has managed to perform a terrible ritual where he captures wizards and gets the dark souls into them.
Hermione was one of the first infected ones, but she is the only one who has managed to contain the Dark Magic inside of her. Still, the years of war have taken a toll, and she is slowly consumed by it.
Draco fights for the Order, after Voldemort uses his parents as sacrifice for the ritual and Hermione saves him. Over the years of fighting together, in the middle of the war, love found its way and they are together. Draco is determined to find a way to break Hermione’s curse before she is consumed. But everything falls apart when Draco is captured and Hermione gives herself entirely to the Dark Side to save him.
