"It's okay, you're here now." She forced a smile as she stared up into his apologetic eyes, her cheeks damp with salty moister. "So, where to this time?"
"Well" he said with a skip, his energy coming back and his excitement building again. "River Song, have you every heard of the planet Beutah?" He quirked an eyebrow and leaned in towards her. He was positively beaming, and his positive energy was surely spreading because her eyes lit up in curiosity and a genuine smile began to grow where her fake one was once placed.
"No, I haven't. But I bet you can't wait to take me!"

It's been 2 months since the last extermination. Alastors' presence in the hotel remained the same, carrying on as though he had chosen to leave the fight at the very moment he had. Being as unpredictably predictable, no one seemed to bat an eye at his simple explanation of why he left when he did. "Well I simply couldn't let the star of the show, dearest Charlie, miss her chance to truly shine now could I?" His condescending tone wasn't shocking, neither was the accompanied laugh track seeming to echo from his shadow rather than the mic he normally carried. Lucifer was really the only one to question it, though Alastor couldn't even be bothered to remember how that conversation had gone.

Aziraphale swallowed, followed the nervous habit of biting his bottom lip - and instantly flinched in pain. The sight made an unwelcome thought manifest itself in Crowley's short-circuited brain. A horrible thought. Yet the only theory he had so far. What if...-

When Aziraphale had first mentioned discussing their ‘sexual interests’ Crowley had been very excited. He had assumed that meant he was supposed to try to court Aziraphale the old-fashioned way with gifts and dates, or that maybe he was going to be seduced with flowers and candles like those couples in Richard Curtis films. The possibilities had made him practically giddy.
So when he had walked into the bookshop with a bouquet of roses and some of the angel’s favorite chocolates from out of town, he was a little disappointed when Aziraphale simply thanked him with a kiss on the cheek and told him to sit so they could ‘make a list’.

Summary
Aziraphale is a young priest at Westminster Cathedral who is charged with going to different locations to provide comfort and blessings to those in need. He is assigned to a homeless shelter, where he finds a disgruntled Crowley who wants nothing to do with the Church.
The priest does his best to respect the redhead's wishes, but ends up getting something else entirely in return.
