“Oh shit—quick! Make a wish!” Jisung grabs Minho’s shoulder and jumps in place. He squeezes his eyes shut, nose wrinkled in concentration, previous conversation forgotten.
“What’d you wish for?” Minho asks, voice too soft, too reverent. Shit, he really can’t help himself.
Jisung peeks one eye open. “Aish, for you to stop looking at me like that,” he whines.
“Like what?”
Jisung circles his wrist and swings their arms lazily. The pressure of his touch sends shocks up and down Minho’s forearm.
“Like that.”
“With my eyes?”
“Seriously, hyung. Stop perceiving me.”

minho spent his nights alone, contemplating how he was going to pay his bills, stalking his ex online and re-watching terribly written love triangle dramas. he wasn't necessarily looking for someone to fall into his lap; he was quite comfortable being single, spending his time focused on himself and getting over his previous relationship.
that was, until a stranger ended up drunk in his back yard at gone midnight on a saturday evening, and minho has no choice but to take him in. annoyingly, his cats become easily besotted with the drunken party boy, but minho himself isn't so enthralled.

“Yeah!” Jisung nods enthusiastically. "Just until the therapist figures it out.”
Minho gives him a long, slow look that suggests he is currently measuring him for a straitjacket. “So. Two sessions, max.”
It’s supposed to be a joke– two best friends and roommates walk into a therapist’s office, and pretend they’re a couple until the therapist figures it out.
But old feelings die harder than old habits, and when everything they’ve been avoiding for five years finally catches up, Minho and Jisung start to realize they may not be pretending as much as they'd like to believe.

Summary
