Shallan is worried. Kaladin is with her husband. But that isn't the problem. The problem is that he isn't with her husband ENOUGH. He ought to be, he wants to be, but he was not.
Wit is a good listener, and takes Shallan's concerns to heart.
Perhaps closer to heart than one would expect.
