Smoke billowed out in all directions from the center of the room shielding both the demons and Soap from his view. He abandoned the office, barreling down the stairs and out toward the sergeant's position.

The smoke cleared as Ghost came upon the sight of two bodies motionless on the sparking, partially molten floor. Soap was checking the pulse of one of the bodies, eyes closed with two fingers on their neck.
