“You wanted to have my lands at the mercy of a spiteful God…” The tie bian dragged along the top of the Geo stocks, making them buzz and constrict along Childe even more. He was held tighter, Geo moulding and pressing along the sides of his throat and off his Adam’s apple. It wasn’t enough to block all his air, but enough to make Childe feel lightheaded, having to focus on deep breaths.
The whip moved away, trailing down his back and along his spine. The cool metal soothed his wounded skin, and brought goosebumps to the cool flesh free of marks. It didn’t rip the cloth of his shirt any more, but the stick roughly pulled down his pants by the waistband, revealing himself fully to the Archon in mortal flesh.
“...Then your punishment will be at the mercy of this God.”

Exhausted, on mandatory medical leave, and definitely not traumatized after his encounters in Fontaine, Childe heads to Liyue to see a familiar face. He plans their reunion to be perfect (he needs it to be perfect), but the welcome he expects is far from what he sees.
(Post-Fontaine, fuckbuddies Zhongli and Childe are absolutely whipped for each other, but they're too scared to admit it until it might be too late. Angst and comfort ensue.)
