Summary
Yelena Belova and Stefaniya Kotova met as children, as new recruits to the Red Room. Now free from Dreykov's control, they're out seeking revenge.
Natasha finds an interest in Stefaniya, her sister's best friend. Doing what she does best, she partners up with Yelena and Stefaniya to avenge the little girls whose lives were ruined by Dreykov-- to put an end to the Red Room once and for all.
But when the Avengers are faced with a powerful opponent, Natasha calls for backup from an old friend. Excited to help the Avengers and spend more time with Natasha, Stefaniya offers her support but doesn't realize what she'd be leaving behind.

Summary
Before she can stop herself, Trinity is reaching for Baran’s arm, holding her wrist with a desperation that makes her grip tight. Her eyes pierce through Baran and the woman almost flinches at the distress she sees in the pale green depths.
“Can I trust you?” Trinity's voice wavers and Baran searches her eyes, seeing the despair of someone who has never known who she can rely on. She knows the look well; it has stared back at her from the mirror many times.
“I'd like to think so,” she says in a steady voice. Trinity’s hand is slightly sweaty and very warm, and she can feel a current of anxiety running under the woman’s skin but she doesn't move.
A pause, then in the same steady voice, "I trust you.”
It's a glimpse at the redemption that Trinity can't have, but desperately wants. “You shouldn’t,” she whispers. “Not after what I said to you. I was being cruel.”
Baran looks at her intensely. “I think you were just scared,” she answers softly.
