Summary
Their trip to Genosha is--bad. U.N. workers are escorted by mercenaries, and it’s not a hopeful message. Certainly not calming to Scott’s nerves or anyone else’s to see the armed men standing even peacefully amongst the efforts. It almost makes Scott forget the tense morning at the breakfast table, with Kitty Pryde and Pete Wisdom describing their latest mission target--something called Dream Nails--while Logan pointedly kicked Scott under the table every time he tried to bring up the newly formed link in their minds.
Despite the accidentally formed link between their minds, Scott, Jean and Logan have to carry on with their responsibilities. Genosha still needs to be recovered, one of their own needs to be buried, and answers to questions everyone is asking are still sought.

Summary
Carter tries not to feel that hitch of anxiety when she looks up and sees Agent Donnelly in the precinct again. She knows from Bill that he’s been back to work since January, limited to desk duty and not enjoying his meteoric fall from favor, though they have officially dropped the investigation into the events at Riker’s.
She knows—and he knows—it’s still on his record. A stain that stays forever. Carter has faith it will make him better, but not that he’ll like it at all. Men have their pride.

Summary
Scott requires more medical attention, but he’s in alright shape aside from the damage to his temples. Jean is furious on his behalf, because the injuries seem unnecessarily cruel. It leaves him too sensitive to wear his visor, though he can get by with just his ruby quartz glasses. He’ll want to get back out there to Genosha, and trouble always has a way of finding them before they’re ready. He also eats like he hasn’t in over a week--three cans of soup and every protein bar he can find in the cupboards. An entire flat of oreo cookies. He looks like he’s on a mission while he does it, trying to explain to Jean around mouthfuls.
“They were doing something to his memory. Just what we need, another mad scientist.”After rescuing Logan and Scott from Weapon Next, the X-Men still have a crisis to deal with in Genosha, a missing leader, and a funeral to plan. Jean Grey is an old hand at juggling catastrophes, but her first priority is making sure her boys are alright.

It’s the pain in Scott’s head that wakes him. A pounding agony at his temples, radiating into an ache at the bridge of his nose. He’s laying on his own arm on a hard, cold surface. Trained instinct reminds him not to open his eyes until he’s sure what’s in front of him won’t be harmed by his optic blasts, but he doesn’t immediately recognize his surroundings. His feet are cold.
Captured in the midst of trying to help with Genosha's recovery effort, Scott Summers finds himself a captive of Weapon Next. He has to find out what it will take to free himself and Logan from their clutches.

“That’s not fair,” Jubilee jabs a finger into Logan’s chest, spitting helpless anger. “Those are my friends, and I wasn’t there to help. I have to help!”
Logan takes the glares and her anger. Just yet she has no other target, and maybe he can’t heal that kind of wound -- but she doesn’t heal anything like he does. He meets her eyes, then looks over her shoulder. He sees a young man that would follow her into this bad idea, and Logan wishes he could tell her how proud he is of the teacher she’s become. He can’t, without giving her ammunition against what he’s going to say next.

Logan looks briefly into Scott’s eyes and quickly looks back down at his claws. He retracts them. “People do crazy things for love.”
Right. Because Logan is in love with Scott’s wife.
It feels so natural for Scott— to exist, just the three of them— that he tends to forget his happiness brings Logan pain.
He picks up Logan’s hand and caresses the space between his knuckles. There’s still a bit of dried blood, creating an outline of his claws, and Scott wipes it away.
“Sometimes I worry that because your skin heals so fast, you try to make everything else fix itself on that timeline too... Just because the scar is gone doesn’t mean the pain wasn’t real.”

Summary
Steve pays a lot of money to spend the night having sex with a guy he’s never met before. When it all comes to an end with the guy handing over his number to Steve, that’s how he meets Bucky Barnes and it’s really the start of everything.
Bucky is a sex worker who now happens to be dating the one & only Captain America. But a lot of people plant themselves in the way of that. While they try to make things work, Bucky realises that things are different with Steve in a way he only becomes aware of once he has it.
