“Keigo, why won’t you shut up.” she whines now, mind lost in fuzzy thoughts as she clutches her head. Her hands feel like plastic– hard and rubbery and far far away yet somehow still there, touching. They push at her own cheeks forcefully, awkwardly, pressing at her flesh and distorting the planes of her face until the tension is almost painful. She sways slightly from side to side. Her son’s awful noise makes her want to puke.

Summary
Hawks was well-versed in fundraisers, galas and venues. He knew his way around a crowd, would rub shoulders and chat for hours when he had to. It was not something he particularly enjoyed– just another feat of the job to be completed like expected. Never did he think such a minor assignment could've caused all this, perhaps that degree of trust was the fault that allowed it at all.

Summary
Hawks instead looks to the second figure, the stranger, approaching.
They're wearing some sort of black hoodie that covers most of their face, even once directly under the blinking light. The pouring rain doesn’t make observation easy either but Hawks still narrows his eyes to attempt it.
The first thing Hawks realises is that it’s a man walking toward him. Twice had said nothing about the person he was bringing. All Hawks knew was what he suspected– another member. The second thing, odd as it was, was that the man seemed tall even with his head bent. Hawks raises his chin a little higher, preparing for intimidation– should it be needed. The third thing is the way the wet hoodie clings to the man, maps him out. Long lanky limbs telling of his physique. Skinny. Most likely quirk-dependent for fights, then.

The two videos along with the image is released onto a public hero gossiping forum by an anonymous account at 16:07. Half an hour later it’s taken down for sexual contents and breach of private autonomy but by that point the material has been viewed, saved and republished relentlessly. By 17:00 thousands of posts had been made speculating regarding the nature of the footage, a few of those comments garnering views in the millions.

Summary
A sadistic laugh rang loudly, this time it filled with more glee than Macaque thought possible. Reminiscent of a child squealing at a precious gift, only with a much more dark reality.
“Oh, oh, oh! How lovely isn’t this?” Lady Bone Demon sang joyously.
“A surprise, I have to admit. But a welcomed one nonetheless!” She continued.
Macaque felt sick. This was wrong, this was so very wrong. Wukong was immortal, invincible, indestructible. He wasn’t supposed to be able to hurt. To be able to bleed.

Summary
In his younger days the sound had terrified him to his core, causing shivers and goosebumps to break out in a mad run all over his body. The fear swallowing him whole. He had been quite the fool back then, still was in some ways. Perhaps it was that remaining foolishness that made his body tense up, that caused the cold dead fear to bite into his skin, just as it had all those years ago.
