Summary
When Twilight encounters a mysterious child deep in the woods, he writes it off as just another oddity of this cross-era quest. After all, one of his companions is a man he first met as a ghost. Weirder things have happened.
But then Twilight and the other heroes find themselves in a strange place called Termina, and the anomalies keep adding up. Why doesn't the kid recognize Warriors? Why has no one in Termina heard of Hyrule? And why is Time, their leader, suddenly shying away from everyone when they need his guidance more than ever?

Summary
The Hero of Time, according to the legends, is a paragon among Hyrule’s heroes. A master in the arts of both magic and combat and carrier of the Golden Goddesses’ blessings, he bent time to his will to awaken the Legendary Sages and thwart the rise of the would-be Demon King Ganondorf, ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity for the kingdom after decades of conflict.
Presently, he is twelve years old, and he is a pint-sized pain in the ass.

Summary
“People always talk about how bad the surgery is,” Ed told Hawkeye, “but you never hear people mention how much it sucks to have fifty pounds of metal hanging off your body. Bolts in your bones.”
“What’s happening?” Mustang asked sharply, turning toward them with his clouded eyes still lingering a few feet over their heads. “Hawkeye? What’s Fullmetal doing? Is there something wrong with his automail?”
Ed flicked the lighter again, waited a little more patiently this time, and inhaled. Then he gave Hawkeye a nod, giving in to the inevitable. The only reason Mustang hadn’t figured it out already was probably because Ed didn’t do a lot of... this sort of thing. The comfort thing. Mustang liked people to play into his expectations.
“Edward came out to smoke opium,” Hawkeye said at last. “He says it helps with the pain from his automail.”

She purses her lips and flicks her gaze upward for a moment, though whether that's an indication of being in thought or literally glancing in the direction of the surface is unclear to Link. "Josha suspects your symptoms are from gloom exposure, and I would concur except the severity is something we've only seen so far when people have practically drowned in it or in the elderly. But your clothes when you showed up were surprisingly clean to have had that kind of extreme exposure, and you're not old."
Link's dopey expression must be making it awful obvious to Purah what he wants to say, because she sighs in exasperation and adds, "Contrary to popular belief, you're not a centenarian in the biological sense, Linky."
Or: An extremely sick Link collapses at the entrance to Lookout Landing. Purah is there when he wakes up.
