Summary
A retelling of Wicked that utilizes the film/musical's story and characters, while also incorporating certain topics and elements from the novel that didn't make it into the stage show. The book contains such interesting ideas, characters, and themes, and I want to explore them with the musical's setting in this in-depth analysis of its characters and their dynamics. A heavy focus on Elphaba, Galinda, and (eventually) Fiyero.
Will eventually become very Thropple oriented, but I won't tag it as such (or as Galinda/Fiyero or Elphaba/Fiyero) until I bring him into the mix directly as to not mistag before he comes into the story.
As of November 2025, I hope to update this story soon.

Summary
My telling of what happens after the Wicked film that follows/includes both elements of the book and the actual stage play's second act. Told (mostly) from Fiyero's perspective, though there is a future chapter or 2 that follow different characters.
Based on the section of Gregory Maguire's "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch" of the same name. Takes place after the film, but deviates from what part 2 will be, though still incorporates the themes and ideas of the musical. Elements from the book, like difference between Animals and animals (feel that this was ignored in the movie) exist as they do there, as do other ideas and characters mentioned as the story continues.
My first time writing Wicked. My first real fanfic, too. Constructive criticism is requested. Thanks, and hope you enjoy!

Summary
A selection of quiet moments across the story - Scenes in between exploring Elphaba, Galinda/Glinda and Fiyero's evolving feelings for each other and the darkening world all around them. Elphaba/Fiyero centric - follows the movie/musical canon while leaning into the darker tone of the book.
Starting in Shiz but mostly taking place somewhere between Act 1 and Act 2 in the first half. From chapter 24 onwards the story is mostly post canon though contains frequent flashbacks to the past.

Summary
Galinda Upland is the darling of the Emerald City, having been adopted by the Wizard after her parents’ untimely death when she was an infant. For as long as she can remember she’s been making people smile and representing the Wizard at Emerald City functions. She has the rest of her future planned out: go to Shiz, network, and then return to the Emerald City to continue to charm the populace of Oz as much as she can without having magic. She's excited to make new friends at Shiz even if she isn't able to study Sorcery, her passion.
But when she meets Elphaba Thropp on her first day and the two become unexpected roommates, everything changes. Elphaba is smart and perceptive, and makes Galinda see Oz--and herself--in new ways. As Elphaba realizes something sinister is happening to the Animals, Galinda realizes that the secrets they're uncovering go much deeper than either of them imagine, so deep that they contradict the stories she's been told about her own past.
Or: Act 1 but Galinda was raised in the Emerald City

Summary
A retelling of Wizard of Oz, specifically the 1939 MGM film, but with elements from Wicked. Mostly the musical, however some elements from the book are taken.
It's not a one-for-one retelling of Wizard of Oz, as a few things had to be changed to fit with Wicked, but it is mostly the same story.
Also I mostly wrote this because even though I loved Wicked For Good, I was kinda upset they didn't show a lot of Dorothy's POV, especially since with these new takes on the other characters it would've been interesting to see how they'd act.Bookmarked by dillfan
