The Lan Sect was known for their poise, their intellect, their elegance and refinement, their perfect self-control, their thousands of rules. What they were not known for, was what that self-control was meant to hold back.
It was known that the Lan loved but once, it was not known how strongly the Lan loved.
When a love confession in the middle of battle is turned into a politicly expedient arranged marriage, it became Lan Xichen's duty to keep that secret contained, and ensure his brother did not dishonor his intended before the wedding. Lan Xichen has handled battle, hardship, loss, and war. He is sure that he, too, can handle keeping Wangji out of Wei Wuxian's robes for a matter of months.

Summary
Each one of the four major sects had their own rich, ancient traditions. None were, perhaps, quite as strange as the Jiang sect of Yunmeng.
The Jiang prided strength and passion in both their men and women, and this pride had brought forth the strangest of all marriage customs, unique to the Jiang of Yunmeng and relatively unknown save for those old enough to be interested in such traditions.

Summary
It wasn’t like Lan Wangji was exceptionally distrusting. He wouldn’t turn away a person in need either, but there was a limit. However there seemingly wasn’t. Lan Wangji could imagine such a generous person existing. But if they had, weren’t they too good to be true? There must be something that Wei Ying was hiding.

“Do you know, if they play concerts?,” Jiang Yanli asks.
Wei Wuxian stares at her. “I … I haven’t looked.”
“Maybe you should. What’s their name? Is it a band or one person? Did you google them?”
“Only their music. I think it’s only one person and they are male.”
“You think?” Jiang Cheng raises his eyebrows.
“The picture of the artist is backlit, so you mostly just see a dark silhouette.” Wei Wuxian pulls up the artist information in his music app to show them the picture.
Jiang Yanli nods. “Hm, you’re right. With the long hair, it could be either, but I’d also go with male. He seems pretty tall and broad.”
“The only real clue is the name.”
“Give me that.” Jiang Cheng grabs the phone. “Yeah, I’d say man. Hanguang-Jun? A little pretentious, right?”
“Not when he can play like that.” Wei Wuxian gets his phone back.
“Couldn’t you invite him for an interview?”
His eyes grow wide. “I’d need a good reason, though.”
Jiang Cheng snorts. “What? Sounding like heaven isn’t enough?”
“Not for the boss.”
“We help you!,” Jiang Yanli says
“We?!”What if WWX were a radio host and wants to get artist LWJ for an interview.
