Grace shakes his head, bringing himself back into the moment. “Sorry, Rock. What’d you say?”
“What Grace want for birthday,” Rocky repeats himself, tone more insistent this time.
“Y’know,” Grace says, deciding an unrealistic idea is better than no idea at all, “I think I want a hug from my best friend. If you can figure that one out, you’ll never have to get me another birthday gift again.”
“Rocky will continue to get Grace gifts anyway.” Grace flushes at the declaration, which he does not want to address. Rocky is quiet for a moment after, tapping his claws on the ground in thought. And before Grace can tell him he was just joking, don’t worry about it, just make him some xenonite barbells so he doesn’t lose these muscles so fast, Rocky is perking up and skittering to leave the room again. “Rocky know how to get Grace gift! Will take some time. Late gift. Will make up for it next Earth year.”
(Or, the one where Rocky's birthday present to Grace ends up getting a little out of hand.)

It started with an agreement.
One Roy regretted moments after making, mind you, because it came paired with a metric fuckton of physical, mental, and as much as it pains him to admit it, sexual, frustration.
But he’s currently attributing those feelings, the sexual ones, to his most recent break-up and the eyeful of Jamie’s junk he wasn’t expecting to see at 4 AM.
How it's going now… is a rapidly evolving story.
The folded piece of paper taped to the front door of Jamie’s flat could have been, in theory, left for anyone. But since it wasn't there last night after Roy left, and only a sum total of 5 hours has elapsed since then, he has to think it’s been left there on purpose. That Roy is the intended recipient.
There were only two words on the paper, and yet they plummeted his heart and kickstarted his libido faster than Keeley in her sexy Christmas outfit did.

Roy yanks the note off the door and shoves it into his pocket before he can convince himself to leave.

Steve and Robin get a two bedroom in Hawkins. It's perfect, except for all the ways it isn't. Drafty windows, clogged drains, shitty landlord. But it's got a couch. A couch that's often occupied by Eddie Munson. Home isn't really the kind of thing Eddie has much of anymore, ever since his trailer became the primary source for all his nightmares. Luckily, he knows of a semi-comfortable couch where he's always welcome.
Despite all it's problem, the house has perks. Primarily, it's somewhere Steve can actually call home. Secondarily, it's somewhere he can share with the people he loves.
AKA: The fruity four live in a convoluted roommate situation, and romance happens along the way.
