Summary
Lex Luthor had finally succeeded in his goal: creating a clone of Superman.
Unfortunately, the intern in charge of providing the clone with information forgot one important thing: social skills.
Faced with a sixteen year old who prefers biting to communication and refuses to be shaped into the perfect Superman replacement, Luthor sees only one option: kidnap another kid for the clone to practice socializing with.
Tim didn't want to be here. Metropolis was too sunny, and being kidnapped really got in the way of being Robin. Now he had to pretend to be a totally normal civilian while figuring out how to save this feral teenager and himself without blowing his cover.
Somewhere, Bruce Wayne is panicking.

Tim Drake could say with certainty that he was having a bad day. Stupid magician, stupid spells. They had a plan to deal with him, they did! That plan did not involve Tim being hit. Or waking up on an alien planet. But he could adapt. But what he really wanted was to go home. Since he couldn't, he'd help them find a way to peace with their creators, they had saved his life after all. Or, rebuilt him? He didn't particularly want to think about that either.

Tim Drake is assigned to investigate a ghost cult. Not a big deal, really, until you consider he's sent with Damian Wayne, an assasin who tried to kill him less than a year ago who he is expected to befriend because they're "brothers".
What follows is as much as a mystery as a romance for Tim, and Damian, Dick, and Bruce finally learn actions have consequences- and they can't make Tim fix everything.

"Two lives are too many. I can return one of you- but you must choose."
The abnormally grainy footage didn't allow lip reading, but body language transmitted well. There was Tim stepping forward, and Damian- he said something, had to from the way Tim bent in pain. There was a back and forth between the two before Tim took another step to the king.
"Some heroes," the king said, "I see only one here. I'll return you, as promised."
To Tim, he said, "a hero was sacrificed, so I must accept.""I want to know what was said between Damian and Tim," Bruce said, "and how to get Tim out. I need you to focus on finding any way to get to him without sacrificing someone."
