Summary
Mr. Solo leaned forward slightly and entwined his fingers together to fold on his stack of papers where the wood of his desk would have been otherwise, and a somewhat wicked gleam took his eyes, and he had the nerve to smirk at her, “And what do you, personally, think of me exactly?”
Rey frowned, not sure what the tone in his voice was indicative of—teasing? Negging? Infuriating cockiness? It was all unclear—and her hands balled into fists on her hips, “Truthfully? I don’t if I can help it. Regardless, you’re not really the topic of conversation here.”

Summary
The Organa apartment in uptown New York City was the kind of apartment that had passed down through Leia’s family for ages. It was stupidly big with a dash of historical and extravagant—kind of like if the Biltmore Estate was condensed into one not-so-tiny apartment. Leia herself had left it to work on Capitol Hill but never had the heart to sell it which made it the one place in the world where a friend of Leia’s could go when they had nowhere else to. Rey was one such unlucky soul.

Summary
“He’s perfect, Jude,” the Roach spoke in a hushed tone against her ear, and her eyes widened. Oh.
The boy had the lost prince’s raven hair, curled lightly in locks across his forehead and at the tops of his ears. His facial features had the pointed distinctiveness of the Greenbriars, and his eyes were nearly black like the late tsarina’s were. As a whole, he bore a striking resemblance to the only living tsarevich, Balekin. He was perfect, and he was drunk.
“I’d like to make you a business proposition,” Jude said at last.

Summary
“Did you know that I did not even learn your name until yesterday, when I married you?”
His face flushed a darker red than it had at breakfast, and he attempted to defend himself with incompetent stammering, “I—I regret that. The situation, of course, would have been,” he wrung his hands together and stared at her feet, “It would have been preferable if we had known one another more. On several occasions, I did attempt to make myself known to you, but you seemed to have other preoccupations.”
Rey could feel her face contorting into a sneer to spit out her barbed words, “Perhaps that was your cue not to marry me!”
Or: Ben falls in love at first insult.
