Eddie Munson gets kicked out of his own band and is left adrift and with nothing left to lose, so when the opportunity to impersonate his friend Gareth and take a job as a sub teacher at a rich kid school comes up, he only thinks of it as one more stupid decision to add to a long list of stupid decisions, and goes for it. He doesn't account for the consequences, or for the kids being a bunch of amazing little shits, or for Principal Steve Harrington being a walking wet dream.

Will felt his soul slowly leaving his body.
Time seemed suspended, as if they were trapped in a parallel reality.
Then Will started to cry. A terrible cry, sobbing and heaving. The tears streamed down like a waterfall and he didn’t even try to stop them, he just lay there, in the arms of the man he loved and who, apparently, was preparing him for the inevitable end.

Will lets the tears spill over and he lets that want that’s always itching under his skin show itself.
“My whole life I’ve missed you every second you’ve been away from me,” Will confesses quietly into the receiver.
If you’re pathetic, I’m wretched.

Not long after the final battle, Mike and Will were inseparable– until Will moved out to New York.
Despite the weekly calls and the freedom of living their lives without terror, there’s no world in which they could last so long apart without it feeling like torture.
Will gets a call, and three days later, Mike is at his doorstep.

It happened casually after that, so casually it almost didn’t register at first. El laughed at something Lucas said, then turned toward Mike and leaned in, instinctively, easily, pressing a kiss to his lips like it was the most logical way to say good morning to him.

When Richie invited his boyfriend over, the first words out of said boyfriend’s mouth should have been take off all your clothes, not, “I want to break up.”
But no, Richie lives in a fucked up society where it’s okay to just come over to someone’s house and completely stomp on their heart. No, seriously, what the fuck? He thinks, then two seconds later, because he has always been incapable of biting his tongue, he says. “What the fuck, no, seriously, what the fuck, Eds—Eddie?”
And his boyfriend, or ex-boyfriend now, just looks at him with those big brown eyes, lips pursed together. “Is it because I banged your mom?” Richie says, because honestly, if he says quite literally anything else, he might start crying. Ugly crying, by the way, not the type of crying that you see in the movies where they cry but they still look like they just stepped off a magazine cover.
